This policy explains what personal information reseam collects when you use reseam.co.uk, why, and what your rights are.
Who we are
reseam is a trading name of reseam ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17447733). Our registered office is 51 Henry St, Rishton, BB1 4JJ, United Kingdom.

What we collect and why

We do not use your information for marketing, and we do not sell it. We do not make decisions about you by automated means.
Payments and orders (Square)
Payments and orders are handled by Square. When you pay, you enter your card details and delivery address on Square’s own page. Your card details go to Square and are never seen or stored by us. Square holds your order, payment and delivery details on our behalf. It also has its own privacy policy, which explains how it uses information it collects from you.
We do not keep customer records on our own website server. Your order and customer details are held in Square, and our website reads them from Square when you sign in to see your orders.
Signing in to see your orders
You can sign in on the Orders page with your email address. We email you a one-time link that expires after 15 minutes. There is no password. We store a small sign-in cookie on your device so you stay signed in.
Cookies and information stored in your browser
We do not use analytics or advertising cookies. We store the following in your browser, all of which the site needs to work:

Because these are strictly necessary, no cookie consent banner is needed. You can clear them at any time in your browser settings.
Who we share information with
- Square, to take payments, hold orders and customer records, and send receipts.
- Our web host, Krystal, which hosts this website and its email. It processes information on our behalf, including your IP address in its server logs and the emails we send you.
- Delivery carriers, who receive your name and delivery address (and phone number, if needed) to deliver your order.
- Forminit, our contact form provider, which is based in the UK. It receives what you enter in the contact form, passes it to us by email, and stores it for us in data centres in the European Union. It acts as our service provider and uses other providers, such as Amazon Web Services and Cloudflare, to run its service, which it requires to follow UK and EU data protection law.
- Public authorities, where the law requires it.
Transfers outside the UK
Square may process information outside the UK, including in the United States. For UK businesses, Square states that it uses UK-approved safeguards for these transfers, such as the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement. You can ask Square for more detail at privacy-eu@squareup.com.
How long we keep information
- Order and payment records: 6 years, as required for tax and accounting.
- Contact messages: 12 months, or up to 6 years if the message relates to an order, a return or a complaint, so we have a record if there is a dispute.
- One-time sign-in links: a record that a link was used is deleted within 24 hours. Signed-in sessions last 7 days.
- Request counters used to limit misuse (based on IP address): deleted within an hour.
Your rights
You have the right to ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- correct information that is wrong;
- delete your information, where we have no legal reason to keep it;
- restrict or object to how we use it; and
- give you your information in a portable format.
Email info@reseam.co.uk and we will reply within one month. Some information, such as tax records, we must keep for a fixed period.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We would like the chance to put things right first.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top.
